Bangladesh’s opportunities in UN peacekeeping mission highlighted at seminar in Dhaka

Speakers at a seminar highlighted the contributions, achievements, future uncertainties and opportunities of Bangladesh in the UN peacekeeping missions on Thursday.

They were addressing the seminar titled "UN Peacekeeping Missions and Bangladesh: Allaying Future Uncertainties and Utilizing Opportunities" at Bijoy Auditorium in Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) in Dhaka.

The programme was organised by the Department of International Relation at Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies in Bangladesh University of Professionals. 

Adjutant General of Bangladesh Army Major General Mohammad Humayun Kabir was present at the event as the Chief Guest.

Vice Chancellor of BUP Major General Md Emdad-Ul-Bari and Pro-Vice Chancellor of BUP Professor M Abul Kashem Mozumder were present as the special guests. 

Professor Dr Rashed Uz Zaman, chairman of the Department of International Relation at the University of Dhaka was the keynote speaker of the seminar. 

Brigadier General Saif-Ur-Rahman, psc, the dean of the Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies moderated the programme.

Moreover, invited guests from armed forces, BUP officials, teachers and students were also present at the seminar.
