Bangladeshi worker killed in Oman road accident

A Bangladeshi youth worker was killed as a private car ran over him in Salalah Haddin city of the country on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Abdullah Al Noman, 25, son of Ohidur Rahman of Companiganj Upazila in Noakhali district. 

Deceased's younger brother GM Nawshad said a speeding private car hit him from behind around 10:30 pm, when he was returning from work and talking over the phone.

The accident left him critically injured. Later, he was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead, he added.  

Deceased's family asked for government cooperation to bring back Noman's body in the country.
