Bangladesh bans visas-on-arrival indefinitely

Foreign investors and businessmen will remain out of purview of the ban
Bangladesh government has extended the suspension on visas-on-arrival for all visitors, except the businessmen and foreign investors, for an indefinite period amid the worsening coronavirus situation in the country.
Confirming the matter to The Business Stanadard, sources in the Immigration office said, the businessmen and foreign investors must have to produce Covid-19 negative report, obtained within 72 hours of travel and valid documents of their business trips.
As of Tuesday, the death toll from deadly coronavirus reached 1,262 across the country. Besides, the total infections tally stood at 94,481.
