Bangabandhu Parishad observes Homecoming Day in Russia

Bangabandhu Parishad Russia celebrated the historic 10th January, Homecoming Day of the Father of the Nation Bangabondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in a befitting mannar. 

The programme was conducted virtually by SM Tamal Parvez, general secretary and chairman of NRBC Bank while presided over by Rafikul Islam Mia Arzoo, president of Bangabandhu Parishad Russia and director of NRBC Bank, read a press release. 

Ambassador of Bangladesh to Russia Kamrul Ahsan was the chief guest of the aforesaid programme which was also attended by Freedom Fighter and Ekushey Padak winner Dr Nuran Nabi who is also the president of the Bangabandhu Parishad USA.

The programme started with the National Anthem and later progressed through the discussion on the life of the Father of the Nation, specially on the significance of the Homecoming Day and  Golden Jubilee of Independence of Bangladesh . 

It was followed by a cultural programme where different patriotic songs were presented lead by a cultural team of Bangladesh Chhatra League. 

At the end of the programme, the participants made a strong vow to follow and preserve the heritage and legacy of the Father of the Nation and materialize his dream of a Golden Bangla.
