Bagdoom receives BASIS ICT Digital Awards 2019

Bagdoom.com, the leading lifestyle e-commerce platform of Bangladesh received a prestigious award in Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) National ICT Awards 2019 held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in the capital.

The Chief Executive Officer of bagdom.com Mirajul Huq said, "Bagdoom launches "Krishti" the first rural female entrepreneur-based e-commerce platform in Bangladesh which gets special importance."

"We are grateful to the Bagdoom team, IDE, WEESMS project and those women entrepreneurs for receiving the National ICT Awards," he added.

Minister of State for Information and Communications Technology Junaid Ahmed Palk said, "The awarding has been selected in 35 categories from across the country"

"Along with the winners, participants will get the chance to go to the Oscar of ICT APICTA Awards."

The APICTA Awards will be held in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam on November 18-23, he added.

The Information Minister of Bangladesh Dr Hasan Mahmud, Minister for Information and Communication Technology Department Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Minister of State for Public Administration Farhad Hossain were present in the programme among others.
