Babunagari condemns harassing incident of Mamunul 

Allama Junaid Babungari, ameer of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh and Director of Education of Darul Ulum Hathazari, has condemned the harassing incident of its joint secretary general Maulana Mamunul Haque at a resort in Narayanganj.

Hefazat Ameer's press secretary Maulana In'amul Hasan Farooqi sent a message to the media on Saturday night condemning the incident.

Claiming that the attack was planned, he said, "In various video clips, the countrymen have seen how the terrorists attacked him. Seeing the nature of their attack, it seemed like a intentional attack. We strongly condemn and protest against this barbaric attack. My demand to the government is that the perpetrators be brought to justice without delay and face severe punishment. "

Earlier on the day, Mamunul Haque, also the central joint secretary of Hefazat-e-Islam, was spotted along with a woman at a resort in the Sonargaon area of Narayanganj. Later, his followers managed to snatch him away from the place he was detained.
