BAB donates Tk164 crore to PM relief fund

Thirty-four member organisations of BAB have contributed to the total amount, ranging from Tk25 lakh to Tk10 crore each

Bangladesh Bank's Association (BAB) has donated an amount of Tk164 crore to the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund, according to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).

Thirty-four member organisations of BAB have contributed to the total amount, ranging from Tk25 lakh to Tk10 crore each.

Another Tk160 lakh has also been donated by seven other entities.

The organizations are: Foreign Officers Spouse Association (FOSA), Institute of Architects Bangladesh,  Minister Group, Ministry of Food, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Rajshahi Medical College, and Bangladesh Judicial Employees Association.

Besides the donation of Tk25 lakh, the Minister Group has made a donation of one lakh surgical masks.
