Ashrayan-2 installations handed over in Chandpur

Civil administration of Haimchar upazila in Chandpur was handed over the 5-unit Ashrayan-2 project installations on Wednesday by the Bangladesh Army.

Senior civilian authorities of Cumilla district and army officers in charge of Cumilla cantonment were present at the handover ceremony, said a press release. 

The 44th Infantry brigade under the 33rd Infantry Division of Bangladesh Army overlooked the construction work of 28 semi-paka barrack houses for Asrayan-2 project starting 1 April and ending 22 May. 

The project also included planting 28 deep tube wells and 84 sanitary latrines. The installation will house 140 homeless families in the area.
