Army demands exemplary punishment to culprits of Sinha murder

Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed has said that exemplary punishment should be given to the culprits of retired army major Sinha Rashed Khan murder.

The army chief came up with the remark while talking to reporters after the regimental parade in Chattogram on Wednesday, says a press release.

On the night of July 31 this year, retired major Sinha Mohammad was shot dead in police firing at Baharchhara check post in Teknaf.

Sinha's sister Sharmin Shahria Ferdous filed a case with the Teknaf Upazila Judicial Magistrate court on August 5, accusing Teknaf police station Officer-in-Charge Pradeep, Baharchhara Check-post In-Charge Liakat among nine policemen for the killing his brother.
