Army distributes relief items among unprivileged people
Units of the military last week distributed relief items among 3279 destitute families across the country
The Bangladesh Army has recently provided humanitarian assistance to the helpless and distressed people amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic as per the instructions of Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed.
Units of the military last week- from 30 April to 6 May- distributed relief items including rice, pulses, sugar, oil, flour, potatoes, onions, soap and salt among 3279 destitute families all over the country, reads a press release on Saturday.
Army units under the Ramu Cantonment, Bogra Cantonment, Shaheed Salahuddin Cantonment of Ghatail, Chattogram Cantonment, Rangamati and Khagrachhari region, Cumilla Cantonment, Mirpur Cantonment, Dhaka Cantonment, distributed the aid items.
The Bangladesh Army said they will continue providing humanitarian assistance till the [Covid-19] situation returns to normal.
