Just few days after the sensational MC College rape incident, another woman has been raped allegedly by her neighbors in the Sylhet Metropolitan area.

Although the incident took place two days ago, it came to light on Monday when the victim filed a case at Sylhet Kotwali Model Police Station accusing three named and two unidentified people.

In quick response, police arrested two accused – Delwar, 40 and Harun Miya, 35.

Rezaul Karim, a sub-inspector of the police station and investigation officer of the case, said the victim along with her family live in a house in the Shamimabad area of the city.

The incident took place on Saturday evening when she was alone in her home.

Taking advantage of the fact that she was alone, her neighbor Delwar and his two accomplices entered her home and took turns to violate her.
