Another victim of an oil tank explosion at a container depot in Chattogram's Patenga area has died today.

The deceased is Rabiul Hossain, 42.

Rabiul breathed his last on Wednesday night on way to Dhaka for better treatment, Incontrade Ltd Managing Director Mohsin Sorkar told The Business Standard on Thursday.

Rabiul, hailing from Cumilla worked as a contractor of a repair factory in the depot. He along with two other injured--Amin and Jobayer were admitted to the burn unit of Chattogram Medical College and Hospital following the blast.

The death toll, including Rabiul, from the accident, reached four as three workers -- Mokter Hossain, 30, Mechanic Md Newaz, 24, and truck helper Arman, 21, died on the spot in the explosion occurred around 11am on Wednesday.

The workers were repairing a leak in the oil tank of a prime mover truck by gas welding, at the Incontrade Ltd, a private container depot known as off-dock. The welding spark ignited the leaked oil from the tank and caused the blast, said an Incontrade Ltd official.
