Another Hefazat leader arrested in Dhaka
Qurban Alli would be introduced before a court tomorrow
Police have arrested Hefazat-e-Islam leader Moulana Qurban Ali from his residence in the capital's Basabo area around 5pm today.
He is the vice president of Dhaka city unit of the Islamist group and joint secretary general of Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis.
Mahbub Alam, joint commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, said a team of Gulshan Detective Branch (DB) arrested him in a case filed over 2013 mayhem at Shapla Chattar, Motijheel.

Qurban Ali will be produced before a court tomorrow, he added.
Several central leaders of Hefazat-e-Islam, including its Joint Secretary General Mamunul Haque, were arrested in last few days.
