The Health Services Division and all of its subordinate offices will conduct regular activities complying with the health safety rules during the strict lockdown.

"The officials and employees of all the directorates, offices and institutions under the Health Services Division must be present at their respective workplaces and discharge their duties abiding by the hygiene rules," said a press release of the health ministry.

The authorities are all set to enforce the strict lockdown from 14 to 21 April, in a bid to tackle the steady uptick in coronavirus fatalities and infections.

During the lockdown, no one will be allowed to move outside the home. All private, autonomous and government offices will remain shut. No vehicle will ply on the roads.

However, the emergency service outlets, in addition to people and vehicles associated with the service, will remain out of the purview of the restriction.

In emergency cases, people are allowed to move publicly after taking a movement pass from the authorities.
