Air Force chief leaves for UAE

Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan, chief of Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force, along with a two-member entourage, left Dhaka for the UAE on Thursday on an official visit there.

He left here at the invitation of AAL Group, an aircraft maintenance organisation in Sharjah, reads an ISPR press release.

During the visit, the chief of Air Staff will visit the helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility of AAL Group.  

He will also visit the training centre of the organisation.

The visit of the Air Force chief is expected to strengthen the existing relations between Bangladesh and the UAE.
