Abrar’s brother drops out from Dhaka College

Abrar Fayaz, the younger brother of slain Buet student Abrar Fahad, has taken a transfer certificate from Dhaka College today.

Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, Dhaka College Principal Nehal Ahmed said: "Fayaz came to the college this morning, along with his mother, and took the release letter."

Fayaz was a first-year student of the college.

Family sources said Fayaz will now study at Kushtia Government College.

Fayaz was afraid of returning to his college in Dhaka after his brother Fahad was beaten to death on Buet university campus last week.

His parents have been suffering from a deep sense of insecurity since then.
