Another 903 Chinese nationals have been inoculated with the doses of Chinese Sinopharm vaccine that Bangladesh received as gift.

They were given the shots on Saturday at four vaccine centres in the capital. The previous week, 738 Chinese nationals were vaccinated.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services, 229 were vaccinated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, 222 at Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital, 229 at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital and 223 at Mugda Medical College Hospital.

Dhaka Medical College Hospital Director Brig Gen Nazmul Haque said Chinese nationals were vaccinated according to the list given by the health ministry.

"Yesterday, 113 men and 89 women were vaccinated. We have not received any instruction as to who will be vaccinated next," he added.
