9 more die at RMCH from Covid-19
77 die in 11 days
Nine more people died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) Covid unit in the last 24 hours.
So far, 77 people have died in just 11 days from 24 May to 3 June. Of them, 46 had contracted with Covid-19, said RMCH Deputy Director Saiful Ferdous.
Four more patients have been admitted to the Covid unit that has increased the current patient number to 224.
Of the nine deceased, five are from Chapainawabganj, two from Rajshahi and one each from Naogaon and Pabna districts.
"Among them, five died in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital, two in Ward No. 3 and one each in Ward No. 16 and 22," said Saiful Ferdous.
Their bodies have been advised to be buried according to hygiene rules, he added.
