7 killed in Cumilla road crash

At least seven people including two women and children have been killed as a bus of Tisha Paribahan rammed into a CNG-run auto rickshaw at Jamtoli area of Cumillla's Lalmai upazilla.

Three others were injured in the accident.

"The deceased could not be identified immediately and their bodies have been sent to the Cumilla Sadar Hospital," said Badrul Hasan, the officer-in-charge of Lalmai police station.

" The CNG was coming from the wrong direction of the highway," he added.
