5 Eid congregations to be held at Baitul Mokarram

The Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka will hold five congregations of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr this year. 

The first congregation will be held at 7:00am, the second at 8:00am, the third at 9:00am, the fourth at 10:00am, and the fifth at 10:45am, according to a press release issued by the Islamic Foundation on Friday.

Meanwhile, the National Moon Sighting Committee will meet on Saturday evening to fix the date of Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of Muslims.

The committee will look over reports on sighting of Shawwal moon during the meeting scheduled to be held at the Islamic Foundation's Baitul Mukarram office at 7:15pm with State Minister for Religious Affairs Alhaj Advocate Sheikh Md Abdullah in the chair.
