41st BCS preliminary exam on 19 March, 42nd on 26 February

The 41st Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination will be held on 19 March while the 42nd BCS examination has been slated for 26 February.
Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) took the decision in a meeting at the commission on Wednesday afternoon, Prothom Alo reports quoting an attendee of the meeting.
The tests will be held from 10am to 12pm on the respective dates.
The 41st BCS circular was published in November, 2019 that saw 4.75 lakh candidates applying for exams.
On the other hand, more than 31,000 applications have been submitted for the special 42nd BCS.
