4 workers killed as covered van hits human hauler in Tangail

Four employees of Nasir Glass Industry were killed today as a covered van hit a human hauler from behind in Tangail's Mirzapur upazila.   

The decreased are - Jahanur, Tapan Chandra Das, Morjina Begum, who hailed from Tangail and Rasheda Begum, hailing from Rangpur.

"A covered van hit the human hauler from behind while the human hauler was entering a filling station, leaving two dead on spot," Md Monurizzaman, the officer in charge of Gorai Highway Police told The Business Standard.  

Six passengers, who sustained injuries in the accident, were rushed to Kumudini Hospital of Mirzapur. Two of them died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
