Four passengers of CNG-run auto-rickshaw were killed as a bus ran over the vehicle on Dhaka-Bogura highway

Four passengers of CNG-run auto-rickshaw were killed as a bus ran over the vehicle on Dhaka-Bogura highway in Majhira area of Bogura's Shahjahanpur on Friday morning.

The deceased could not be identified yet, said Bazlur Rashid, senior station officer of Bogura Fire Service and Civil Defense. 

According to police and fire service sources, the accident took place as the bus hit the vehicle in front of Majhira MP Checkpost around 6am, leaving three passengers dead on the spot and another injured.

The injured died on the way to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital. 

Highway police seized the bus but the driver and helper fled the scene, said sub-inspector Md Mizanur Rahman of Shahjahanpur Police Station.
