Four killed in two accidents in Bagura
Sherpur police station's Officer-in-Charge Humayun Kabir confirmed the matter.
At least four people were killed and two injured in two separate accidents at Sherpur upazila of Bogura today.
Three of them were killed and two injured when two trucks collided at college road on Dinajpur highway in the morning.
Hafizur Rahman, a truck driver, was identified as one of the deceased. Others are yet to be identified.
Humayun Kabir, officer-in-charge of Sherpur Police Station, said that the accident occurred when a Dhaka bound truck carrying banana collided with a Bagura bound truck carrying rods.
Two of the injured have been admitted to Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in Bogura.
Another woman, Amena Bibi, 55, was killed near the same spot while crossing the road.
The Bogura bound bus of Shyamoli Paribahan ran over the woman and flee away.
