3 UPDF men killed in Dighinala gunfight
A patrol team of Bangladesh Army came under a gun attack by local criminals.
Three members of the United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) were killed in an alleged gunfight with an army team in Dighinala upazila of Khagrachhari on Monday.
The deceased are Jitendra Chakma, Nabin Chakma, and Rasul Chakma of Kripapur area of the same upazila.
A press release of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said a patrol team of Bangladesh Army came under a gun attack by local criminals.
The team fired back in retaliation, triggering a gunfight.
The three men were found dead after the gun battle. The army officials recovered three firearms from the spot.
