3 Chittagong University students detained over ragging

Three students of Chittagong University were detained for their alleged involvement in raging admission seekers on the university campus on Saturday evening.

The detainees were Jihad Hasan of History Department, Arsel Azim Nilai of Public Administration Department and Arafat Rahman of International Relations Department.

A university proctorial team caught the students while harassing admission seekers in front of the university transport office, Pranab Mitra, acting proctor of the university, told the media.

Later, the proctorial team handed them over to police.
