The Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members have arrested three individuals with 20,000 litres of furnace oil during a raid in Shikalbaha area under Karnaphuli Police Station area in Chattogram city.

The arrested are- Jamal Hossain (34), Md Alamin (30) and Saddam Hussein (30).
Rab-7 Assistant Director (Media) Mahmudul Hasan Mamun said a total of 20,000 litres of furnace oil was seized from the two tank lorries.
Three people were held while taking away the furnace oil smuggled from abroad, he said.
The detainees have been handed over to Karnaphuli Police Station, added Mahmudul.
