29 Bangladeshis return home from Libya

Twenty-nine Bangladeshi workers returned home willingly from volatile Libya on Tuesday.

A Turkish Airlines flight carrying them landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 5:20am, said programme head of Brac Migration.

However, they were staying at the immigration of the airport till filing of this report at 11:30am, said airport sources.

The immigration authorities sent messages to respective police stations for verifying their addresses, they said, adding that the workers returned from willingly following the current situation in Libya.

The sources also said 37 more Bangladeshi workers will return home on Wednesday and 35 others on Friday for the same reason.
