2 motorcyclist students killed in Faridpur accident

They were students of local Brahmankanda SA Academy.

Two students were killed after collision of two motorcycles on Bhanga-Faridpur highway on Monday afternoon. 

The deceased are - Sakib Fakir, 16, son of Abul Khair from East Sadardi and Sahin Matubbor, 15, son of Sanowar Matubbor from Pakhuria Nazirpur village of Faridpur.

They were students of local Brahmankanda SA Academy.

Confirmting the matter, Lutfur Rahman, officer in charge of Bhanga police station said the duo left for Bhanga from Pakhuria on a motorcycle. An unidentified motorcycle hit their bike when they reached Hamirdi bus stand, leaving two dead on the spot and another seriously injured.   

The injured biker was sent to Faridpur Medical College Hospital, he added. 

Bhanga highway police rushed to the spot and recovered the dead bodies and took the motorcycles to the police station.
