2 killed as trucks crash in Gazipur

Two people were killed and two others injured when a truck hit a human hauler on the Dhaka- Mymensingh highway at Rangila Bazar in Sreepur upazila early Thursday.

The identities of the deceased are unknown yet.

Delwar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sreepur Police Station, said: “The accident occurred around 1:30 am when the Mawna-bound truck hit the onion-laden human hauler, leaving a passenger of the human hauler dead on the spot and three others injured.”

The injured were taken to Sreepur upazila health complex where doctors declared another passenger dead.
