19 entities to receive President’s Award for Industrial Development 2018 Monday

The government will distribute the President's Award for Industrial Development 2018 to 19 industrial units, in six categories, for their outstanding contribution to the national economy.
Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun will hand over the awards to the winners at a ceremony at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel on Monday, said a media statement issued by industries ministry.
State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder; President of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Fazle Fahim; and industries secretary KM Ali Ajam will be present as special guests at the event.
Out of the winning business entities, four will be given award in heavy industrial category, while four in medium industrial category, three in small category, three in micro industrial category, three in cottage industry category, and the rest two in high-tech industrial category, the media statement read.
