দেশজুড়ে খুচরা পর্যায়ে প্রতি কেজি আলু বিক্রি হচ্ছে ২৫ টাকায়। অথচ জয়পুরহাটের পাঁচবিবি উপজেলার চাষিরা প্রতি কেজি আলুর জন্য সাড়ে ৮ টাকার কম পাচ্ছেন প্রান্তিক কৃষকরা।
