Demonstrators shone lights and sang at a university in Khon Kaen, Thailand in one of the protests that sprung up across the country on Saturday (October 17) in defiance of a government ban on political gatherings.
Protesters seeking to remove Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha and reform the monarchy gathered in Bangkok and at least six other Thai cities.
Social media video showed protesters singing 'Always', a song by Thai singer Pongsit Kamphee while waving flashlights in a peaceful demonstration at the Khon Kaen University.
"I think (the protesters) wanted to represent that they're fighting this this fight together always," said Supaphon, a Twitter user who filmed this video. "Even if it's hard, they'll always have each other."
Police have arrested more than 50 people - including several protest leaders - over the past week.
