Four years ago, Arshad Khan, a chaiwala (tea-seller) from Pakistan, went viral on the internet after a photographer clicked a picture of him and shared it on social media.
This year Arshad Khan is all over the trends list yet again as he has established his own chai café in Islamabad, reports the India Today.
Arshad Khan was spotted by professional photographer Jiah Ali in September 2016.
Dressed in a blue kurta, Arshad made tea on the streets of Islamabad and Jiah took just the perfect picture of the "blue-eyed" boy. With the picture going viral, Arshad gained immense popularity as the "Chaiwala of Pakistan" and is pretty much renowned within the internet circuit.
Café Chaiwala Roof Top
Khan launched his chai café in the Pakistani capital recently and named it, Café Chaiwala Roof Top.
Speaking to Urdu News about his café, Arshad said: "Many people asked me to name my café as Arshad Khan and told me to change the current name. But I refused because 'Chaiwala' is my identity."
Café Chaiwala Roof Top makes for an interesting place with several Pakistani-cultural elements such as kites and paintings placed in and around the eatery.
"We have used truck artwork to design the café and also placed desi tables and chairs," Arshad Khan, handsome in a blue suit, told Urdu News.
Around 15-20 dishes are available at the café apart from tea.
Meanwhile, Arshad added that he is spending most of his time at the café but will also complete his other pending projects in the field of entertainment.
However, he does regret the fact that he did not complete his education but is grateful for his achievements.
Arshad Khan also signed up for several modeling assignments in the past and appeared in Pakistani singer Muskan Jay's music video Beparwai in 2017.
