Two Leicester City soccer players including Bangladesh-origin Hamza Choudhury showed support for the Palestinians after winning England's FA Cup final on Saturday.

They waved the Palestinian flag after the final whistle on Saturday evening.

The move was a show of solidarity with Palestinians who have faced intense bombardment, air strikes and persecution from Israeli forces in recent days, causing the death of over 140 people.

English midfielder Choudhury and French defender Fofana were seen holding a Palestinian flag, reports The Times of Israel.

Choudhury had the flag draped over his shoulders as he collected his winner's medal after beating Chelsea 1-0.

Tens of thousands of protesters marched in support of Palestinians on Saturday in major European cities including London, Berlin, Madrid and Paris, as the worst violence in years raged between Israel and terror groups in Gaza.
