Highlights

  • Product costs Tk149,500
  • WiFi-connected home applayence can be controlled remotely via mobile app
  • Samsung claims this is the first kind of product in Bangladesh market

Samsung Bangladesh has brought a unique tech solution named AirDresser for cleaning clothes. It ensures sustainable, higher-quality garments that will cause less damage to the environment.

It  keeps clothes refreshed and revitalised without washing. As it prolongs the period between washes, less stress is put on fabrics, especially delicate materials.

The product was recently launched at BTI Landmark Showroom in Dhaka.

The price of AirDresser has been set at Tk149,500.  However, buyers will get an additional cash back of Tk15,000 for this appliance on pre-booking on top of regular cash back of Tk2,000.

Samsung officials claimed that they are the only brand to provide this product in Bangladesh market.

The product offers numerous features including a Jet Air system and Air Hangers that freshen clothes by using powerful jets of air to loosen and remove engrained dust, even from deep within the fabric.

It also uses Jet Stream, which sanitises garments gently to remove 99.9% of viruses, bacteria, and allergens.

And its Heatpump Drying provided gentle care for clothes by drying them at a low temperature, reducing any worries of shrinking and heat damage. The steam also relaxes the light wrinkle on the clothes.

Shahriar Bin Lutfor, head of business (consumer electronics), Samsung Bangladesh, said, "AirDresser offers a great way to care for and freshen up your wardrobe, especially as we are spending more time indoor and trying to limit our trips to the dry cleaners."

Md Shariful Islam, product manager (home appliance) at Samsung Bangladesh said, "For an additional care, AirDresser comes with a Weight Kit to help smooth out wrinkles and renew pants pleats. AirDresser captures and removes 99% of odors from garments by using the Deodorising Filter and keeps the cabinet and clothes fresh. "

AirDresser is WiFi-connected and can be controlled remotely via the SmartThings mobile app. Users will also receive laundering notifications in the app.
