Huawei's new smart watch Huawei Watch Fit has arrived in Bangladesh and is available countrywide at the company's authorised sales outlets, says a press release.

The device with sophisticated features weighs 34 grammes with 4GB of built-in memory. For super connectivity, there is Bluetooth 5.0. Other features include GPS, Accelerometer, and Gyro.

It has a non-removable lithium ion battery for backup. The battery ensures backup for up to 10 days.

The watch will be active 50 metres underwater. It has a rounded rectangular display of 1.84 inches with HD resolution on the AMOLED display.

The device has several different watch face designs, which can be downloaded and installed for free from the Huawei Watch Face Store.

Mohammad Zahirul Islam, managing director of Smart Technologies BD Ltd, said, "Huawei Watch Fit has come as a gift to add a new dimension to the smart life of fitness-conscious people of the country. It has all the great features that will give users a great experience. For Bangladeshi customers, Huawei always strives to deliver innovative products."

"Huawei Watch Fit is the best budget-friendly smart watch," said Shuvonker Golder Jony, product manager of Huawei at Smart Technologies.

"It will act as the user's personal fitness trainer. The stylist gadget's stand-up reminder works automatically to keep users active at all times. This will ensure health protection.

"There are also animated fitness courses. An infographic of heart rate data can be obtained from the device. So, it will guide the user like a personal trainer for their own health care," he added.

The new device mostly focuses on fitness. Its special feature is the heartbeat monitoring capability. It uses Huawei's own TruSeen 4.0 and TrueSleep 2.0 technology to measure heart rate.

If this watch is worn on the wrist during sleep, the user's heart rate will be monitored. It can monitor user's sleep conditions along with analysing breathing, resting heart rate, and oxygen flow in the blood as well as real-time heart rate.

The intelligent technology of Huawei Watch Fit can identify 44 physical gestures and through that, 12 different workout courses can be completed.

The device is priced at Tk9,999. Huawei's sole distributor in Bangladesh is Smart Technologies.
