Tk 50 lakh prize money announced for T20 Cup final
Each player of the champion side will get 1,50,000 BDT while the members of the runners-up team will receive 75,000 BDT each.
The Bangabandhu T20 Cup is in the closing stage. Gemcon Khulna and Gazi Group Chattogram will be facing each other in the all-important final on Friday at Sher-E-Bangla Cricket Stadium at Mirpur. Before that, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the prizemoney for the ongoing T20 cup through a press release.
Almost half-a-crore taka will be given to the players of the two finalist teams. Each player of the champion side will get 1,50,000 BDT while the members of the runners-up team will receive 75,000 BDT each.
Apart from that, the best player of the tournament will get 3,00,000 BDT. There are actually quite a few contenders in this position. Player of the final will receive 1,00,000 BDT.
The best batsman of the tournament will get 2,00,000 BDT. Currently, Liton Kumer Das leading with 370 runs from 9 matches. He is miles away from other batsmen in this regard. Bowler of the tournament will get the same amount of money where Mustafizur Rahman is having a run of his life.
There will be a Special Performance Award for 4 players who will be getting 1,00,000 BDT each.
BCB spent nearly 40 lakhs taka in prizemoney in the President's Cup in October.
