Bangladesh's ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has once again stepped up to the plate to battle the war against the coronavirus.
First, it was "The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation" where they raised funds to help underprivileged people in Bangladesh.
This time, The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation has teamed up with Confidence Group to purchase authentic testing kits and supply them to the top hospitals in the country.
A statement in Shakib's social media platforms read: "I am extremely proud to announce that Confidence Group has teamed up with SAH Foundation to match funds totalling BDT 20 Lacs and purchase authentic testing kits to be supplied to recognized hospitals and medical institutions.
I look forward to collaborating with Confidence Group even more to make a difference in everyone's lives."
Previously, all 91 contracted first-class cricketers in Bangladesh donated half of their month's wages to battle this growing pandemic.
Support also came from Bangladesh women's team fast-bowler Jahanara Alam as she donated families with food and other necessities.
Also, all of the contracted national men's team players also donated half of their month's salaries as all the cricketers have been trying their best to fight away this pandemic.
