Shakib returning home today
The news has been confirmed to The Business Standard (TBS) by a BCB official.

Things are getting heated between the star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) regarding the former's recent interview. In a Facebook live video, he claimed that the chairman of the board's cricket operations department, Akram Khan did not even open his letter before allowing him to play in IPL. Shakib also questioned the competence of a few ex-cricketers who are currently working on the board.
The interview has stirred the whole cricketing fraternity, and many comments have been made.
Akram Khan informed that granting Shakib the No Objection Certificate (NOC) to play the IPL would be reconsidered. But there's confusion here too. Shakib was initially granted the NOC to skip national duties from April 1 to May 18, whereas he did not mention any dates in the letter he sent to the BCB.
Amidst all the chaos, Shakib is returning home by a Qatar Airways flight tonight, which will land in Dhaka at 2 am. The news has been confirmed to The Business Standard (TBS) by a BCB official.
