Shafiul latest addition to Bangladesh squad for Sri Lanka ODIs
The late addition makes him the sixth pace bowling option in the squad after Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, Soumya Sarkar and Farhad Reza.

Fast bowler Shafiul Islam has been added to the Bangladesh squad that is touring Sri Lanka for the three-match ODI series which begins on Friday, according to the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
The late addition makes him the sixth pace bowling option in the squad after Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, Soumya Sarkar and Farhad Reza.
The 29-year-old last played in the national colours in 2016, and although he has been selected in the squad after that, he did not manage to make the first XI and play another ODI.
The right-arm pacer played his last ODI in 2016 against England at Chattagram and his last Test match came in October 2017.
Shafiul's last match was against Afghanistan A where he bowled 9.2 overs and took two wickets, conceding 59 runs and Bangladesh A lost that game.
With Bangladesh already having lost their regular captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza with a grade 1 hamstring tear and Saifuddin with a back injury, Farhad Reza and Taskin Ahmed were called into the squad.
Shafiul will be the 15th man in the squad for the three ODI's which will be played in 26th and 28th July and 1st August and all of them will take place in Colombo.
