Bangladesh's former ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza wrote on his Facebook page, "It is high time for the youth to stay home. Be safe. Be at home!"
In another post, the veteran also spoke about the precautionary measures to battle coronavirus.
Shakib Al Hasan, who is currently in quarantine, in a video on his Facebook page, said, "You have all come to know by now that coronavirus has affected people in Bangladesh. We have to stay aware. Our awareness can help the country, the people to stay safe."

Bangladesh ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal also posted a video on his Facebook page where he talked about the precautionary measures required to battle the outbreak. He said, "Coronavirus is spreading all over the world and the number of patients in Bangladesh is increasing. There is nothing to panic, but everybody must stay aware. We all need to perform our duties together to win the fight against coronavirus. If everyone abides by their responsibilities, Almighty willing we will win this battle."
Bangladesh national football team skipper Jamal Bhuyan asked the fans to stay home and send him the "#Stayinhome" challenge videos. He said, "Stay in, Stay safe, Stay active."
