All-rounder Mosaddek Hossain Saikat picked up a knee injury during the first practice session in Queenstown on Thursday and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has informed that he won't be taking part in the warm-up game on Tuesday.
"Mosaddek Hossain Saikat hurt his knee during fielding practice on day one of training in Queenstown. He is not available for the warm-up match as he is recovering," the BCB has informed the media via a press release.
The cricketers will play a practice match on Tuesday at John Davies Oval in Queenstown. The match will begin at 11 o'clock local time and will feature five local players.
Bangladesh then will travel to Dunedin where the first ODI between them and the Black Caps will be held on March 20 with the second one happening on March 23 at Christchurch, a day-night affair.
And finally, the third match will be in Wellington on March 26.
The three T20Is will happen on March 28 and 30 and 1 April at Napier, Auckland, and Hamilton respectively.
