Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) is hoping to get Manchester United to play in Dhaka as part of the celebration of the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Bujibar Rahman.

A four-member security team from the former English Premier Leagues champions is scheduled to visit Dhaka on November 26.  United will visit Bangladesh next June and appear in a friendly match. BFF is yet to confirm an opponent for the famed 'Red Devils'.

However, BFF General Secretary Abu Nayeem Shohagh said that the arrangement of the match depends on sponsorships, funding and security clearance. Recently, Argentina national football team was also supposed to appear in Dhaka for a friendly. But lack of funding meant the match had to be scrapped.
