Mahmudullah pleased with team's preparation ahead of Windies ODIs
Mahmudullah led his side to victory against Tamim XI in the first 40-over intra-squad practice match at BKSP-3 on Thursday.
Mahmudullah, one of the key members of Bangladesh's ODI side, believes that the preparation ahead of the series against the West Indies is going well and is quite confident of winning the series.
Mahmudullah led his side to victory against Tamim XI in the first 40-over intra-squad practice match at BKSP-3 on Thursday.
He heaped praise on the fast bowlers participating in the match. "I reckon the bowlers of both the teams bowled very well. Probably there was a hint of movement early on. But the wicket got better for batting in the second half. Overall, that was good practice," Mahmudullah said.
Shakib Al Hasan got himself run-out in a rather unfortunate manner. Regarding that, Mahmudullah said, "Shakib's dismissal was unfortunate. The ball ricocheted off non-striker's body to the bowler. On any other day, it would've been an easy single."
Mahmudullah was the star with the bat in this match, scoring an unbeaten 51 to get his team home.
