Robert Lewandowski has been crowned the 2019/20 Bundesliga player of the season.
"I have to say I'm very happy, that means a lot to me and I'm very proud of this title. Expectations of me are always very high but I know I have to always show something new, maybe sometimes something spectacular," said the Polish international.
The 31 year old striker has scored 33 goals in 30 Bundesliga games and fired Bayern Munich to their 8th consecutive league title.
He added,"If I score a goal, and in the end, we win titles, this is the best thing that can happen for me."
The Bavarian broke the record for the most goals by a non-german player in the Bundesliga this season and saw off competition from teammate Serge Gnabry along with Timo Werner, Jadon Sancho, Erling Haaland, Amine Harit and Kai Havertz to win the award.
