The Women's T20 Challenge kicked off yesterday in Sharjah with last year's finalists, Velocity and Supernovas faced each other. Jahanara had a good day with the ball bagging two important wickets, paving way for her team to victory.

In the second match today, Jahanara Alam's Velocity will face Salma Khatun Trailblazers.
Salma Khatun is truly a trailblazer in Bangladesh's women's cricket. She was there when  Bangladesh women played their first representative match in 2007, their first ODI in 2011, their first T20I in2012, and when they won their first major trophy in 2018. She is playing in this tournament for the first time being the second Bangladeshi cricketer ever.
Jahanara Khatun, on the other hand, playing for the second time for the same team, Velocity. She played two matches last year including the all-important final where she bagged two wickets, one being considered the ball of the tournament. She will be eager to do better than last season to cement her position for the upcoming years as well.
Their performance will, hopefully, pave way for more Bangladeshi cricketers to get featured in this tournament and show their class abroad.
The match will begin at 4:00 pm BST.
