Hasan Mahmud too returning home with Tamim

Pace bowler Hasan Mahmud is returning home from New Zealand as he could not regain fitness in time for the T20I series against the Black Caps which starts on Sunday. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the news through a press release.
The press release said that the 21-year old has not trained or played due to a stiff back following the first ODI in Dunedin.
"Mahmud left for Dhaka today along with ODI Captain Tamim Iqbal. He will continue his recovery under the supervision of the BCB Medical Team."
Earlier, ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal announced that he decided to skip the T20I series due to personal reasons.
Bangladesh will play a three-match T20I series against New Zealand starting from Sunday.
