Footballer Bishwanath Ghosh tests negative for Covid-19 two days after testing positive
The defender was initially screened at Evercare Hospital in which the result was positive. He underwent a test second time around at Anwar Khan Modern Medical College Hospital in which he tested negative.

A conditioning camp involving the footballers called up to the squad for the 2022 World Cup and Asian Cup qualifiers was scheduled to begin, only halted by the illness of most of the footballers.
So far, excluding the seven footballers who were to join on Friday, 18 out of 24 footballers have tested positive for Covid-19. Among them, defender Bishwanath Ghosh was the first one whose results turned out to be positive.
But strangely, the defender has tested negative for Covid-19 within two days. "I am absolutely fine. I wasn't sure of the result which came out on August 3 as I didn't have any symptom. The next day I underwent another test and the result, much to the relief, has turned out negative," he told The Business Standard.

"I will undergo another test to be absolutely sure. I want to do that on August 14. But I don't know when the team has scheduled the next test," Bishwanath mentioned.
