After a poor start, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehidy Hasan Miraz managed to ensure Bangladesh post a decent score at the end of the first innings.

Bangladesh finish their innings on 238/8 in Colombo!

Mushfiqur Rahim was the star with the bat as he finished the innings just two runs short of a century. A fabulous knock.

Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first in the second game of three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka on Sunday at Colombo.

Bangladesh made one change to their playing XI as Taijul Islam got the chance in the place of Rubel Hossain. Taijul played an ODI for the last time back in 2016.

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, made two changes. They replaced Thisara Perera, Lasith Malinga with Akila Dananjaya, Isuru Udana.

The match is a do-or-die affair for Bangladesh.

In the first match, Tamim-led Bangladesh missed a couple of catches on the field as well, which was another big reason behind their big loss by 91 runs.

Bangladesh (Playing XI): Tamim Iqbal(c), Soumya Sarkar, Mohammad Mithun, Mushfiqur Rahim(w), Mahmudullah, Sabbir Rahman, Mosaddek Hossain, Mehidy Hasan, Shafiul Islam, Taijul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman

Sri Lanka (Playing XI): Avishka Fernando, Dimuth Karunaratne(c), Kusal Perera(w), Kusal Mendis, Angelo Mathews, Lahiru Thirimanne, Dhananjaya de Silva, Akila Dananjaya, Isuru Udana, Nuwan Pradeep, Lahiru Kumara.
